We understand that time is of the essence, so we have a comprehensive onboarding process to ensure your experience goes as smoothly as possible for your business.
Working with MilkSwift, you should be confident in your choice, which is why we work closely, and it's vital to work with your company and all stakeholders in person throughout your onboarding. MilkSwift first spends time learning about your organization and helping your company to bring all your stakeholders onto the platform so that everyone feels good about the change.
Each organization is unique and requires a personal onboarding process, but here is a flexible step-by-step guide that can be adapted to your business:

Phase 1 - Discovery & Demo
If you are interested in the MilkSwift solution, we will make a discovery and demo call via Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams. This call will help us get to know each other. We will provide all the information you need to know about us and answer all your questions. The MilkSwift team will take detailed notes on how big your organization is, which systems you currently use, and more to best understand your needs ahead of time.

Phase 2 - Onboarding
Your organization is ready to move forward and start the procedure. After signing the onboarding contract, we will meet with your organization's stakeholders to ensure your onboarding experience goes as smoothly as possible. At this stage, we get to know the stakeholders involved in your company's dairy supply chain.

Phase 3 - Company Requirements
We need to know what you need and expect from our MilkSwift software, as MilkSwift provides a custom solution for each dairy company. To deliver the best solution, we meet with each department/team in your organization that participates in the current supply chain, from transportation to processor operations to management. This allows us to best understand your stakeholders' requirements and offer the best solutions.

Phase 4 - Collecting Data
At this phase, we collect all available data from your company on your current supply chain. The MilkSwift team goes back up to three years to import your historical data into MilkSwift software. This way, you will receive insights that can improve your efficiency once you have access to your MilkSwift portal. Laboratory results and sampling data are crucial for all stakeholders across the supply chain. We also determine the most effortless process for laboratories to send results data to be ingested so that all stakeholders can see data as soon as possible. We also collect master data at this stage from the dairy company fleet, drivers, processors, dairy farms, and all managers involved in the supply chain.

Phase 5 - Confirmation
When the MilkSwift team has all the necessary data and is ready to start implementing your company's custom solution, we make a call for final confirmation, discuss all custom changes we will implement, and give you an estimated project timeframe. Your company will have access to a project management tool where you will have complete visibility of all the requirements and customizations you identified earlier.

Phase 6 - Implementation
You will have all the tools necessary to monitor the progress of the implementation as it happens and feel reassured that progress is happening and everything is on schedule. MilkSwift implements your custom software in a temporary environment for the trial period. If our team has questions or challenges, we will contact your team for clarification to deliver the software as smoothly and timely as possible. The implementation period usually takes three to four weeks.

Phase 7 - Launch and Training
The MilkSwift software is set up and ready to go. It's time to train all your stakeholders in the supply chain to use it. We will organize a call with every stakeholder to train them and demonstrate how to use the software and answer all questions that arise. We take our time to make sure that everyone in your organization and all third parties feel comfortable and confident completing their tasks with MilkSwift. The software launch and trial period typically occur one month before the current supply chain tools you plan to turn off.

Phase 8 - Trial Period and Final Result
The MilkSwift team is here to help you if you have any software-related concerns within the trial period. By collaborating with all shareholders of your supply chain, we will build a complete and custom solution for your dairy supply chain. If you are happy with the software after the trial period, we will migrate your software to the permanent environment, and you will continue to use it for your supply chain. At this point, you are officially on the MilkSwift software and can turn off any tools you previously used for your supply chain. If you believe the software we built for you does not meet your needs during the trial period, you can decide to go in another direction. We will accept your decision no matter what. Remember that you have a trial period for a reason. You don't pay anything upfront for the custom software before you choose to use it for your business.

As your partner, MilkSwift is not going anywhere. We will continue to provide you with 24/7 support and build out any further requirements you may have and in the future.
